Quickfix: Skype for iPhone
- 31 March
I was really psyched when Skype announced a native iPhone client... And today I was a bit less excited when found out that the app crashes every time I try to enter my account details. But fear not, there's a quick fix!
Here’s a quick fix that worked for me:
- Instead of trying, entering your existing account details, tap on Create account
- Tap on the first field– the keyboard should appear
- Tap on Cancel and go back to the previous screen
At this point you should be able to enter your details into the log-in fields without causing the app to crash.
REMEMBER: Remember to restart your iPhone after the installation!

Everything that has a beginning, has an end…
- 21 March
You guessed it, this is one of my top favorite movie quotes of all time – it's what Agent Smith says to Neo at the very end of the trilogy. But that's not what I wanted to post about.
The day has come, after years of watching it, Battlestar Galactica series ended. It was an awesome show, I can say it was the top 1 on my list and probably for many others– hell, I know a guy who started pirating shows just because BSG was aired only in the States he (and me, apparently) didn’t knew BSG was aired in European TV.

So Say We All ;-)

Here we go again
- 4 May
Just today was I chatting with a friend about the whole street-credit and how it's rapidly falling on its head since I was out of the whole blogging circle for a while now. Well consider this post as the coming-back one.
This probably would never happen as of the design which (quite obviously) is only partly finished - but I just said to myself “f*ck it… let’s to this…”, and here we go, 80% finished design/functionality - never less it’s here so enjoy… I know I will.
Good to be back.

…you know, busy, busy, busy
- 1 September
Seems like my last note here was posted ages ago. But there’s a very good reason why is that… Well, good and simple - I was busy as hell. After coming back from my holiday around the 22nd, I had to move flats - an absolutely dreadful experience, the number of stuff I actually own was sooo beyond my highest expectations.
Deadlines, now who of New Media doesn’t love them. Seems like before you finish one deadline there is a new one on your head. Now, Dave was completely right at some point saying that New Media is not for pussies - well, take my word for it, it really isn’t. So basically the next year at Keepthinking is going to be highly enjoyable as we won some really interesting, big-ass and future proof projects - and yeah, we’re still in the look of some fresh blood.
On top of it all there are a couple of my private projects, like the new blog.olicio.us (that’s right, I’m nearly done), CSSRockstar.com (blog), LaminatedLiquid.co.uk (folio), defpattern.com (branding, website), User-Experience work for DevonStudio and some User-Interface work for a fairly interesting project that Greg of Envypoint.com is coming up with. Almost forgot about AppleBlog.pl which I’m the new author of.
As you might also notice I’m switching my blog’s language to English-only as I pretty much figured that it would happen sooner or later - so basically why wait.

Hate London’s weekend public transport
- 21 July
That’s today - just a reminder, it’s the weekend - and these are the days where the tubes are 800% more crowded than on weekdays, and what? These stupid fuckers are just closing four of the most important lines.

Yesterday for instance EVERY southern service was offline since early midday until 7ish - that’s just unbelievable, they can’t manage the rail with hot weather - fair enough since they don’t know what “nice” weather is. Yet they can’t even manage to keep the rail going in cold weather or even a little dose of rain in that case.
Oh, yeah, and I’m writing this because I need to go the office today - so instead of doing a 35 min’s journey it’s going to take me at least 1.5 h of squeezing with those sweaty tourists… blah…
