Quickfix: Skype for iPhone

I was really psyched when Skype announced a native iPhone client... And today I was a bit less excited when found out that the app crashes every time I try to enter my account details. But fear not, there's a quick fix!
Here’s a quick fix that worked for me:
- Instead of trying, entering your existing account details, tap on Create account
- Tap on the first field– the keyboard should appear
- Tap on Cancel and go back to the previous screen
At this point you should be able to enter your details into the log-in fields without causing the app to crash.
REMEMBER: Remember to restart your iPhone after the installation!

Tried the above… tapping into any field with text input crashes the app. Wonder if Skype Inc is planning to address this issue.

This only happens on jailbroken phones. You need to update your MobileSubstrate in Cydia. Fixes everything.
