LastTweet.com
- 1 January
Introducing LastTweet.com, a small collaborative project Adam and I were working on for the past few weeks.
Didn’t you ever wish there was a simple way to display your recent Twitter status inside the Last.fm’s sidebar – I, sure did? Well, with LastTweet.com you can do just that, in no–time (three steps to be exact).
What it does in generating a nice BBCode you can just paste straight into your sidebar.
As for now it only supports Last.fm, but perhaps in the future we’ll allow other websites to use the widget.
11 responses so far. Care to add one yourself?

Nice idea.
BTW, what’s the name of the font used in LastTweet logo? ;-)

- Very cool
- When I choose the red style, I get dark blue boxes instead… small bug I guess

@Sebastian, thanks for the heads-up, I’ve addressed the issue!
@Dominik Porada, “Pointy”
@Reod, thanks! I think it may be the reason why LT is currently not working ;-)

I’ve just noticed there’s no way to display the widget on other sites (ex. in a forum signature). You could spread it not only on Last.fm.

It’s not possible to do that by design. Perhaps sometime in the near future.

Love it. Would love to see a modular, non last.fm version, I haven’t found a more elegant “last tweet” widget yet.
If you’re not going to build a more modular version, would love some pointers on what to use when I’m not on last.fm

Adam and I were pondering on creating a sister project for non-last.fm uses. This might happen soon as we pretty much have all the back-end necessary.
I remember seeing lasttweet.com rip-off somewhere but can’t find it anymore - I’m guessing it wasn’t too popular… Duh.
