Hate London’s weekend public transport

That’s today - just a reminder, it’s the weekend - and these are the days where the tubes are 800% more crowded than on weekdays, and what? These stupid fuckers are just closing four of the most important lines.
Yesterday for instance EVERY southern service was offline since early midday until 7ish - that’s just unbelievable, they can’t manage the rail with hot weather - fair enough since they don’t know what “nice” weather is. Yet they can’t even manage to keep the rail going in cold weather or even a little dose of rain in that case.
Oh, yeah, and I’m writing this because I need to go the office today - so instead of doing a 35 min’s journey it’s going to take me at least 1.5 h of squeezing with those sweaty tourists… blah…

oh yeah, thats terrible. ive experienced yesterdays crowds on piccadilly & victoria lines; of course on northbound. they cant deal with ANY weather conditions. theyve got always some excuse.

W Polsce, a przynajmniej w Warszawie problem też jest bo akurat teraz rozpoczÄ™li modernizacjÄ™ linii tramwajowej na MarszaÅ‚kowskiej i WoÅ‚oskiej. Z ruchu wyÅ‚Ä…czone sÄ… takie, zazwyczaj najbardziej oblegane linie, jak choćby 17tka. Z “Centralnego” nie dojedzie siÄ™ też tramwajem na “stadion” … Szczerze współczujÄ™ ludziom, którzy sÄ… zmuszeni jechać rano do pracy z Brudna, czy Pragi autobusowym transportem zastÄ™pczym. Ale to jeszcze nie koniec :) Od sierpnia ma siÄ™ zacząć remont nawierzchni na PuÅ‚awskiej. Mam tylko nadziejÄ™, że nie wyÅ‚Ä…czÄ… na ten czas tramwajów bo już bÄ™dzie tragedia.
